Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Information Industry of the People's Republic of China and the National Postal Telecommunications Agency of the Lao People's Democratic Republic on Jointly Developing Applicable Technology Demonstration Projects for Rural Communication.

The scope of this Memorandum of Understanding is to cooperate between the two Parties on the telecommunications in rural and remote areas. The two Parties agreed to cooperate in carrying out the demonstration project on rural telecommunication technologies in Laos. The cooperation between the two Parties under this MOU shall comply with the existing laws, regulations and national policies of the two countries. The two Parties shall provide the necessary facilities for the operation and maintenance of the cooperative projects implemented in accordance with this MOU.
