Memorandum of Understanding between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Oil and Natural Resources of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The scope of this Memorandum of Understanding is to cooperate in the development of oil on the land or in the sea in Pakistan. The two Parties agreed: (1) the National Development and Reform Commission will assist and encourage Chinese state-owned and private enterprises to investigate and make assessment on the possibility of investing in joint ventures or establishing joint ventures. (2) The Ministry of Oil and Natural Resources will provide relevant Chinese enterprises the necessary assistance and convenience.
