Memorandum of Understanding between State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China and Ministry of Health of the Republic of Italy on cooperation in the sphere of entry and exit sanitary quarantine.

Both Parties agreed that the health and quarantine competent authorities shall strengthen epidemic information exchanges, establish infectious disease epidemic reporting system, build up cooperation mechanisms and channels of prevention and control of infectious disease such as SARS, AIDS, tuberculosis, avian flu, and zoonotic diseases. The Parties shall carry out exchanges and training on entry-exit health and quarantine work, and public health emergency response and treatment and related rapid detection technology.
