Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Marine Technology between the Ministry of Oceanography of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Marine Development of Government of the Republic of India.

The two Parties agree to promote cooperation in the following areas: (1) comprehensive management of coastal zones; (2) seabed resources exploration and development technology; (3) marine energy; (4) marine resources assessment; (5) aquaculture and processing of seaweed; etc. The two Parties further agree to establish a Joint Commission on Marine Cooperation. The Joint Commission will summarize, coordinate and promote cooperation in the field of the ocean and supervise the cooperation. At the same time, the joint committee will also actively promote new cooperation between the two Parties.
