National Animal Disease Epidemiological Survey Plan (2026-2030).

This National Animal Disease Epidemiological Investigation Plan (2026–2030), issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, aims to strengthen animal disease epidemiological investigations in accordance with the Animal Epidemic Prevention Law, improve understanding of disease occurrence and transmission, assess disease risks and control measures, and support the prevention and control of animal diseases. The Plans cover major animal diseases, key zoonoses, common diseases, exotic diseases, and emerging animal diseases.
The Plan provides for routine and emergency investigations involving livestock, poultry, special economic animals, pet animals, wildlife, etc. Investigations focus on high-risk activities and areas, including breeding, transport, trade, slaughter, border regions, quarantine facilities, migratory bird routes, and wildlife habitats. The Plan establishes procedures for outbreak investigations, tracing and risk assessment, designates responsibilities among national and provincial authorities and veterinary institutions, and promotes information sharing, technical training, intelligent monitoring methods, and data-driven disease prevention and control.
