The objective of the National Guiding Opinions on Mandatory Vaccination against Animal Diseases (2026–2030) is to prevent and control major animal diseases that threaten livestock production and public health through compulsory vaccination, strengthened vaccine quality management, monitoring, and evaluation of immunization effectiveness. The policy document establishes national immunization targets, including maintaining high vaccination coverage and antibody levels. It identifies the animal diseases and regions subject to mandatory immunization, including highly pathogenic avian influenza, foot-and-mouth disease, peste des petits ruminants, brucellosis, and echinococcosis.
