Abstract
This Standard specifies the basic requirements and management rules to be satisfied for grains, including sensory requirements; indicators for toxic and harmful fungi and plant seeds; physical and chemical indicators; storage and transportation requirements; limits of pollutants and mycotoxins; pesticide residue limits; the use of food additives and food nutritional fortifiers. The Standard is a compulsory standard.
Finished grains mentioned in the Standard, refer to primary products processed by mechanical means from raw grains, such as rice, wheat flour, etc. This Standard applies to raw and finished grains for human consumption, including grains, beans, potatoes, etc. The Standard is not applicable to raw materials for processing edible oil.
