This Standard specifies the food safety requirements to be met in the process of purchasing, transporting, checking and accepting, storing, and selling of meat and meat products. The Standard is a compulsory standard.
Meat mentioned in this Standard includes fresh meat, chilled meat, frozen meat and edible by-products, etc. The Standard applies to meat and meat products business operation activities. It does not apply to freshly prepared and sold meat and meat products business activities, online meat transactions, catering services.
