National Standard GB 16798-2023- Safety requirements for food machinery is a mandatory standard.
The main purpose of formulating this Standard is to prevent the transfer of substances (including physical, chemical aspects, etc., such as detachment, reaction, dissolution, decomposition of materials in contact with the product) caused by mechanical equipment factors during the production and processing of the product, as well as the deterioration of residues during the processing, to prevent harmful effects on the human body.
The Standard focuses on ensuring the safety and harmlessness of any surface that the product may come into contact with during production and processing, as well as maintaining the equipment in a good and clean condition. At the same time, it takes into account the general safety requirements that food machinery needs to have.
