Order No. 40 of the State Forestry Administration laying down the Measures for the administration of forest seed production and operation license.

These Measures, consisting of 27 articles, aim to regulate the administration of forest seed production and business operation licenses. In order to engage in forest tree production and seed business operation, entities and individuals shall obtain forest seed production and business operation license issued by the competent forestry authorities of the people's government at or above the county level. The Measures provide for the conditions, procedures and requirements to be satisfied for the application, examination, issuance, administration and supervision of forest seed production and business operation licenses.
