Abstract
In order to make the Pakistani mangoes export to China safely, according to the pest risk assessment results, the State Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (MINFAL) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan agreed that Pakistani mangoes exported to China must comply with the plant quarantine laws and regulations of China. MINFAL shall carry out quarantine of mangoes exported to China, to ensure they do not contain the quarantine pests China is concerned about. Each batch of mangoes for export to China shall have a plant quarantine certificate issued by MINFAL which proves that they meet Chinese plant quarantine requirements.
