Provisions on the Administration of Hygiene Licensing of New Disinfection Products and New Water Related Products.

These Provisions, consisting of 30 Articles, are enacted in accordance with the Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases, aiming to standardize the work of sanitation administrative licensing for the production of disinfectants and disinfection instruments by using new materials, new processes and new sterilization principles, and the production of drinking water safety products by using new materials, new processes and new chemical substances. The Provisions contain 4 Chapters: General Provisions; Application and Acceptance; Review and Approval; Supplementary Provisions.
The National Health and Family Planning Commission shall set up a New Disinfection Products and New Water Related Products Review Committee to undertake the technical review of new disinfection products and new water related products. The National Health and Family Planning Commission shall decide whether to approve or not according to the technical review conclusions of the Committee.
