Abstract
These Provisions, consisting of 20 Articles, are enacted in accordance with the Administrative Measures for New Varieties of Food Additives, aiming to standardize the application and acceptance of new varieties of food additives.
The application materials shall be arranged in the order as prescribed in Article 3. Required application materials include: (1) Application form; (2) Physical and chemical properties; (3) Technical necessity, purpose and conditions of use; (4) Production process; (5) Quality specification requirements, inspection methods and inspection reports; (6) Toxicological safety assessment data; (6) Information or supporting documents about the permitted use at home and abroad; etc.
