Abstract
These Provisions are enacted to further strengthen the investigation and handling of major fishery violations, and respond to social concerns in a timely manner.
Major fishery violation cases refer to important fishery violation cases that violate the laws and regulations on the protection of aquatic resources and seriously damage fishery resources. Such cases are complicated, cross-departmental, cross-regional, and have obvious social impact. The Fisheries and Fisheries Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs is responsible for the guidance, overall coordination and supervision of the listing and the supervision of such cases within the scope of its duties. The Yangtze River Basin Fishery Administration Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs is responsible for the listing and supervision of major fishery violations within the waters under its jurisdiction.
