These Provisions are formulated to regulate the use of food additives and food nutrition fortifiers in sports nutrition foods.
Sports nutrition food refers to food or nutritional supplements specially processed and prepared according to special formulas to meet the physiological, metabolic, or specific nutrient needs of athletes (referring to personnel specialized in training and participating in sports competitions).
