Abstract
These Regulations are formulated to protect and improve the ecological environment, prevent and control soil pollution, safeguard public health, promote the sustainable use of soil resources.
The Regulations consist of 9 Chapters: 1. General Provisions; 2. Planning, Standards, Detailed Investigation and Monitoring; 3. Prevention and Protection; 4. Risk management and Remediation; 5. Legal Liability; 6. Supplementary Provisions.
The Beijing Municipality shall support scientific and technological research and development, achievement transformation and application, as well as international exchange and cooperation in soil pollution monitoring, prevention, assessment, risk control and remediation; encourage the green and low-carbon development of the soil pollution prevention and control industry, strengthen the cultivation of professional and technical talents and social professional service organizations, and promote scientific and technological progress in soil pollution prevention and control.
