Abstract
These Regulations are formulated to strengthen the protection and management of ancient tea trees, promote the rational development and utilization of ancient tea tree resources.
The Municipal People's Government shall establish a Chaozhou Ancient Tea Tree Protection Expert Group in the Chaozhou Ancient Tree and Famous Tree Expert Database to provide consultation, argumentation, and guidance for the protection, management, and utilization of ancient tea trees. Ancient tea trees with an age of over 100 years （1） Implement first level protection for ancient tea trees over 300 years old; （2） Implement secondary protection for ancient tea trees that are over 100 years old but less than 300 years old; (3) Special protection shall be implemented for ancient tea trees over 500 years old.
