Regulations of Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province on the Development of Dehong Coffee Sector.

These Regulations are formulated to improve the quality of Dehong coffee products, create distinctive brands, and promote the high-quality development of the Dehong coffee industry. Units and individuals engaged in activities such as Dehong coffee planting, processing, scientific research, operation, service and management within the administrative area of the autonomous prefecture shall abide by these regulations. The term “Dehong Coffee” as mentioned in these Regulations refers to the coffee varieties and products thereof, mainly Yunnan Coffea arabica, within the scope of the Dehong Coffee Geographical Indication Certification Trademark approved by the State.
The agricultural and rural authorities of the county (city) people's government should strengthen the management and guidance of the use of pesticides, fertilizers, agricultural films and other agricultural inputs in the process of Dehong coffee cultivation, promote the use of organic fertilizers and green comprehensive prevention and control technologies for diseases, pests, and weeds, and ensure the quality and safety of Dehong coffee.
