Abstract
The Regulations aim to ensure fair and efficient resolution of forest and forest land ownership disputes while protecting the rights of all parties involved. When a dispute arises, parties can apply for mediation through the local people's mediation committee. During the dispute resolution process, the status quo must be maintained, prohibiting any new production activities on the disputed land. The dispute resolution agency is responsible for conducting on-site investigations. Parties must provide truthful evidence and cooperate with the investigation. The local government must make a decision on the dispute within six months of the mediation process ending. The resolution process requires thorough documentation, including investigation records, mediation agreements, and administrative decisions, which must be made available for public inspection.
