Regulations of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on border security administration

These Regulations are enacted to strengthen the administration of border security, safeguard the security and stability of border areas and coastal areas, and promote opening-up and economic and social development.
The Regulations consist of 5 Chapters: General provisions; Border security management in border areas; Border security management of coastal ships; Legal liabilities; Supplementary provisions.
The Autonomous Region Government shall take effective measures to improve the production and living conditions in the border areas and coastal areas, and increase the support to the villages and residents in the border areas and coastal areas. In addition to obtaining the relevant certificates from the competent authorities in accordance with the relevant provisions, a ship going to sea shall apply to the port of registry or the public security frontier department of the place where the ship is located for the registration of the ship.
