Abstract
These Regulations aim at protecting and improving the environment, preventing and controlling atmospheric pollution, safeguarding the health of the general public, enhancing ecological civilization, and promoting the sustainable development of economy and society.
The Regulations consist of 8 chapters: General Provisions; Inspection and Supervision; Industrial Pollution Prevention and Control, Prevention and Control of Pollution from Burning Coal and Other Highly Polluting Fuels; Prevention and Control of Pollution from Motor-driven Vehicles and Vessels; Prevention and Control of Dust Pollution; Prevention and Control of Agricultural and Other Pollution; Legal Liabilities; Supplementary Provisions.
