Regulations of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on the Protection of Mangrove Forest Resources.

These Regulations are enacted to strengthen the protection and management of mangrove resources, protect biodiversity, resist natural disasters such as storm surges, and promote the improvement of marine ecological environment. The Regulations consist of 5 Chapters: General Provisions; Protection Plan of Mangrove Forest Resources; Protection and Management of Mangrove Forest Resources; Legal Liability; Supplementary Provisions.
The municipal and county-level people's governments with mangrove resources where they are located shall incorporate the protection and management of mangrove resources into the local national economic and social development plan, strengthen leadership on the protection and management of mangrove resources, do a good job in the construction and management of mangrove nature reserves, mangrove protection communities, and include mangrove resource protection and management funds into their budgets.
