Regulations of Hebei Province on Public Participation in Environmental Protection.

These Regulations are formulated to ensure the public's right to know, participate, and supervise environmental protection, and create a good production and living environment.
The Regulations consist of 6 Chapters: General provisions; Disclosure and acquisition of environmental information; Scope and channels of public participation; Measures to ensure and promote public participation; Legal liability; Supplementary provisions.
Enterprises should publicly disclose environmental information in accordance with the law, consciously fulfill their environmental responsibilities, and actively accept public supervision. People's governments at or above the county level and their relevant departments shall publicly disclose environmental information in accordance with the law, solicit public opinions, promptly respond to public opinions, suggestions, and reports, and provide convenience for public participation and supervision of environmental protection.
