Regulations of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution caused by Solid Waste.

These Regulations are enacted to protect and improve the ecological environment, prevent solid waste from polluting the environment, protect public health, and maintain ecological security.
The Regulations consist of 8 Chapters: General provisions; Industrial solid waste; Construction waste and agricultural and animal husbandry solid waste; Hazardous waste; Other solid waste; Safeguard measures; Legal liability; Supplementary provisions.
Units and individuals that generate, collect, store, transport, utilize, and dispose of solid waste shall take measures to prevent or reduce environmental pollution caused by solid waste, and shall bear responsibility for the environmental pollution caused in accordance with the law (art.4). Units and individuals engaged in large-scale livestock and poultry production and breeding should promptly classify, collect, store, utilize, and dispose of solid waste such as livestock and poultry manure (art.37).
