Regulations of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution in Wuhai City and Surrounding Areas.

These Regulations are enacted to protect and improve the atmospheric environment of Wuhai City and its surrounding areas, prevent and control air pollution, and safeguard public health.
The Regulations consist of 41 Articles divided into 6 Chapters: General provisions; Legal liability; Pollution prevention and control in mining areas; Industrial pollution prevention and control; Regional joint prevention, control and joint governance; Supplementary provisions.
The People's Government of the Autonomous Region shall formulate plans for the prevention and control of air pollution in Wuhai City and its surrounding areas based on the main functional zoning, regional air environment quality conditions, etc. The People's Government of the Autonomous Region leads the air pollution prevention and control work in Wuhai City and its surrounding areas in a unified manner. In accordance with the principles of unified planning, unified standards, unified monitoring, unified supervision, and unified assessment, the regional air pollution joint prevention, control, and joint governance cooperation mechanism shall be established.
