Abstract
These Regulations are developed to promote the high-quality development of the meat sector in the autonomous region and promote the construction of important national agricultural and animal product production bases. The Regulations consist of 45 Articles divided into 6 Chapters: General provisions; Livestock and poultry farming; Livestock and poultry breeding; Slaughtering, processing and sales; Services and support; Supplematary provisions.
The agricultural and animal husbandry administrative departments of the people's governments at or above the county level shall improve the registration and management system for livestock and poultry germplasm resources, and improve the digital germplasm resource database. People's governments at all levels should ensure reasonable demand for land for livestock and poultry breeding. Land spatial planning at the banner and county level arranges land for livestock and poultry breeding based on local actual conditions. The agricultural and animal husbandry administrative department of the People's Government of the Autonomous Region shall, in accordance with the national quality and safety risk monitoring plan for livestock and poultry slaughter, and in combination with the actual situation, formulate a quality and safety risk monitoring plan for livestock and poultry slaughter and organize its implementation. Livestock and poultry slaughtering operators shall truthfully record information on the source of livestock and poultry, product flow, meat quality inspection, and harmless treatment, and the record retention period shall not be less than two years.
