Regulations of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Promoting High Quality Development of Dairy Sector.

These Regulations are developed to promote the high-quality development of the dairy sector in the autonomous region and give full play to the important role of the dairy industry in the construction of important national agricultural and livestock production bases and the economic and social development of the autonomous region.
The Regulations consist of 49 Articles divided into 8 Chapters: General Provisions; Breeding of High-Quality Livestock; Construction of High-Quality Forage Bases; Standardized Farming Practices; Stable Procurement and Sales of Fresh Milk; Integration and Development of Industry; Supervision and Support; Supplematary provisions.
The autonomous region shall build modern cow breeding bases, encourage education and research institutes, enterprises to carry out joint breeding research and breeding of cows, and cultivate excellent breeding bulls; Encourage and support education and research institutes, technology promotion departments and enterprises to strengthen research on the protection and utilization of forage genetic resources, and jointly promote key core technologies in forage breeding and the industrial application of biological breeding. The agricultural and animal husbandry administrative departments of the people's governments at or above the county level shall support dairy livestock breeders in carrying out good agricultural standard certification, promoting the scale, standardization, and intelligent construction of dairy livestock farming, supporting the upgrading and transformation of key facilities and equipment in feeding, milking, health care, epidemic prevention, etc., promoting scientific feeding technology, and improving the production capacity and quality of fresh milk.
