Abstract
The purpose of these Regulations is to prevent and control environmental noise pollution, protect and improve the living environment, and protect human health.The Regulations consist of 39 articles divided into 8 Chapters: General provisions (I); Supervision and management of the prevention and control of environmental noise pollution (II); Prevention and control of industrial noise (III); Prevention and control of noise in construction (IV); Prevention and control of traffic and transportation noise (V); Prevention and control of noise in social life (VI); Legal liabilities (VII); Supplementary provisions (VIII).
During the preparation of transportation, urban and rural construction and other special planning, the requirement of sound environment quality shall be fully considered, various functional areas and main traffic arteries shall be rationally planned, and the environmental impact assessment shall be carried out according to law.
