Regulations on the Protection of Power Facilities.

The purpose of these Regulations is to ensure the smooth going of power production and construction, and maintain public security. The Regulations are divided into 6 Chapters: General provisions (I); Scope of protection and protected area of power facilities (II); Protection of power facilities (III); Handling the interfering with each other of power facilities and other facilities (IV); Rewards and penalties (V); Supplementary provisions (VI).
Electric facilities shall be under the protection of the State. It is forbidden for any unit or person to damage the electric facilities or unlawfully seize or use electric energy (art. 4). The department of electric power administration of the State Council shall be in charge of the supervision and control of the electric power throughout the country (art. 5).
