Regulations of Qinghai Province on the Prevention and Control of Echinococcosis.

These Regulations are formulated to prevent and control the occurrence and spread of echinococcosis, ensure human health and public health safety, and promote the construction of a healthy Qinghai. The prevention, control, treatment, and supervision and management activities of echinococcosis within the administrative region of this province shall be governed by the Regulations.
The agricultural and rural competent departments of the people's governments at or above the county level shall organize and carry out prevention and control work such as deworming dogs and immunization of cattle and sheep, strengthen the management of animal slaughter. The water conservancy department of the people's government at or above the county level shall implement water supply guarantee projects in rural pastoral areas to ensure the safety of drinking water for people and livestock.
