Regulations of Shaanxi Province on Prevention and Control of Air Pollution

These Regulations provide for the prevention and control of air pollution and for the protection and improvement of environment. The Measures consist of 4 Chapters: General provisions (I); Measures for prevention and control (II); Legal liabilities (III); Supplementary provisions (IV).
Shaanxi Province executes air pollutant emission total control and concentration control system. Units that emit air pollutants into the air shall comply with the national and local emission standards and the quota of total control of and emission of major air pollutants. Enterprises and institutions that emit industrial waste gas or air pollutants containing toxic and harmful substances into the air, and the centralized heating facilities operating units, shall apply to environmental protection administrative departments at or above the county level for waste discharge permit. The production, import, sales of fuels used for motor vehicles, boats, aircraft, shall conform to the state and the provincial hazardous substances control standard of fuels.
