Regulations of Tibet Autonomous Region on Border Management.

These Regulations are enacted to strengthen border management, safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity, maintain security and stability in border areas, and promote economic and social development in border areas.
The Regulations consist of 6 Chapters: General Provisions; Border management; Border Area Management; Management on People Living on the Frontiers; Legal Liabilities; Supplementary Provisions.
If people living on the frontiers of China find that the livestock of neighboring countries have entered the territory of China, they shall drive them out on the spot or report to the local people's government in a timely manner, and shall not hide, use, trade or kill them. The livestock returned to China by neighboring countries shall be taken over by the local people's government and sent to the relevant departments for quarantine and inspection before being handled according to the relevant regulations. According to the agreement reached between China and neighboring countries, people living on the frontiers of China should cross the border to graze according to the agreed areas, period of time, and number of livestock.
