Rules for swine production place quarantine (2019).

These Rules are enacted to regulate the swine production place quarantine.
The Rules make provisions for the swine (including wild boar artificially reared) production place quarantine objects, quarantine qualification standards, quarantine procedures, quarantine results processing and quarantine records.
The official veterinarians should check the "Animal Epidemic Prevention Conditions Qualification Certificate" and the breeding archives of the animal farms (or breeding areas), and understand the situation of production, immunization, monitoring, diagnosis and treatment, disinfection, harmless treatment. The official veterinarians should also confirm that there have not been relevant animal diseases in the farms (breeding areas) within 6 months, and confirm that the swines have been immunized according to the national regulations and within the effective protection period. The official veterinarians should further check: whether the kitchen wastes are used to feed pigs in violation of the state regulations; if a veterinary vaccine that has not been approved by the state is used; etc.
