These Regulations are formulated to protect and improve the ecological environment, prevent and control soil pollution, safeguard public health, promote the sustainable use of soil resources. to protect and reasonably utilize germplasm resources, strengthen scientific and technological research in the seed industry, stimulate breeding innovation, standardize seed production, business operation and management, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of seed producers and users, develop modern seed industry, and maintain national seed source security, food security, and ecological security.
The Regulations consist of 9 Chapters: 1. General Provisions; 2. Protection and Utilization of Germplasm Resources; 3. Breeding Innovation; 4. Variety Management; 5. Production and Business Operation; 6. Support and Guarantee; 7. Legal Liability; 8. Supplementary Provisions.
The Beijing This city will incorporate the rights to new plant species, breeding method invention patents, and other breeding related intellectual property rights into the Municipality's intellectual property protection system, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of intellectual property rights holders in the breeding field in accordance with the law.
