Abstract
These Regulations are formulated to protect wild animals, save precious and endangered wild animals, maintain biodiversity and ecological balance, promote the construction of ecological civilization, and promote the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.
The Regulations consist of 37 Articles divided into 5 Chapters: General Provisions; Protection of Wild Animals and Their Habitats; Wildlife Management; Legal Liability; Supplementary Provisions.
Those who hunt terrestrial wild animals with important ecological, scientific, and social values and locally protected wild animals must apply for a hunting license from the district wildlife protection department and obey the management of hunting quotas. Illegal hunting, transporting and trading of wild animals is prohibited. Those who artificially breed nationally protected wild animals must obtain an artificial breeding license in accordance with the law. The protection of wild animal genetic resources shall be strengthened.
