This Special Action Plan of Hebei Province for Smart Agriculture Demonstration Construction (2020-2025) is one of the 20 key special actions in the digital economy development plan of Hebei Province. The action plan specifies the development goal: By 2022, the proportion of intelligent applications in large-scale facility planting, livestock and poultry, and aquaculture will reach over 60%; By 2025, 100 large-scale, networked, intelligent, and refined demonstration zones for modern "planting, breeding, and processing" ecological agriculture will be created. The intelligent application rate of national and provincial-level modern agricultural parks will reach 100%, achieving the goal of industrial integration, data interconnection, and efficient and convenient services for the development of smart agriculture.
The Plan proposes to focus on the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, accelerate the application of modern information technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, and 5G in the field of agricultural production, focus on six major tasks, implement six projects, vigorously promote the innovative development of "Internet plus" modern agriculture, and accelerate the digital process of agricultural industry.
The six major tasks include: smart planting, smart animal husbandry, smart fisheries, smart seed industry, smart agricultural and rural new new internet-based businesses such as sightseeing agriculture, urban agriculture, shared agriculture, cloud farms, and smart supervision.
