Abstract
This Standard is formulated to implement the Environmental Protection Law and the Law on the Prevention and Control of Environment Pollution Caused by Solid Wastes, prevent and control environmental pollution, improve ecological environment quality, and standardize the management of hazardous waste storage environment.
The Standard specifies the overall requirements for pollution control of hazardous waste storage, site selection and pollution control requirements for storage facilities, pollution control requirements for containers and packaging materials, pollution control requirements for storage processes, as well as environmental management requirements for pollutant discharge, environmental monitoring, environmental emergency response and supervision.
According to relevant laws and regulations, this Standard is a mandatory standard.
