Standards for the Construction of Designated Quarantine Facilities for Imported Cattle, Goat and Sheep.

This document specifies the site selection, facilities, supporting facilities and management system of the designated isolation and quarantine site for imported cattle, goat and sheep.
The straight-line distance between the designated isolation and quarantine site and the port of entry should not exceed 200 kilometers, and the transportation is convenient. Ports of entry have animal loading and unloading sites and facilities that meet biosecurity requirements. The animal loading and unloading site should have fences and purse seines to prevent animals from escaping; it should be easy to clean and disinfect; in abnormal weather, it should be easy to take effective measures to prevent the spread of quarantine objects.
