Decree-Law No. 28/2023 establishing the legal regime for the protection and classification of touristic walking routes in Cape Verde.

This Decree-Law establishes the legal regime applicable to pedestrian recommended walking routes for tourist purposes in Cape Verde, including: public paths, roads, trails or ravines, landscape, of environmental, cultural, tourist or social interest. The recommended walking routes in Cape Verde are classified as short routes (PR) and categorized by assigning a sequential code. Pedestrian routes must be identified on national topographic and cartographic maps.
