Abstract
This Decree-Law establishes the second amendment of articles 6, 22, 24 and 26 of Decree-Law No. 57/2021 on the structure, organization and operating rules of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. Amended articles deal with the administrative and legal proceedings, in particular by creation the National Secretariat for Climate Action (SNAC). The SNAC will provide enhanced coordination and executive leadership in the implementation of climate action and will be responsible for planning and technical advice for the formulation of funding proposals and support for the implementation of climate projects and programmes. It will also be responsible for the secretariat of the Interministerial Council for Climate Action (CIAC) and the National Council for the Environment and Climate Action (CNAAC). Climate Action Council (CNAAC), in the climate component, as well as coordinating meetings related to climate issues.
