Decree-Law No. 46/2022 approving the Territorial Cohesion Index (ICT).

This approves the Territorial Cohesion Index (ICT), which makes it possible to assess the development trajectory of each municipality in the country. The aim of this index is to assess the national development and to capture the spatial and temporal trends of disparities in the development of the various municipalities, under three dimensions: economic, social and territorial, capable of responding to the specific needs of decision-making in terms of public policies for territorial cohesion, and regulating the territorial cohesion index, as well as its methodology.
