Decree-Law No. 6/2025 creating and delimiting the Integral Tourism Development Zones (ZDTI) in the municipality of Porto Novo, on the island of Santo Antão, and in the municipalities of Tarrafal and Ribeira Brava, on the island of São Nicolau.

This Decree-Law creates and delimits the Integral Tourism Development Zones (ZDTI) in the municipality of Porto Novo, on the island of Santo Antão, and in the municipalities of Tarrafal and Ribeira Brava, on the island of São Nicolau. Through Regulatory Decree No. 7/94 of 23 May, amended by Regulatory Decree No. 5/2006 of 18 September, the government declared and classified several areas of national territory as Integral Tourism Development Zones (ZDTI), as they have a special aptitude and vocation for tourism, covering the islands of Santiago, São Vicente, Sal, Boa Vista and Maio. The delimitations of the ZDTIs on the above mentioned islands are set out in the Annexes.
