Decree No. 11/2022 approving the Agreement for Cooperation in Marine Fisheries between the Government of the Republic of Cape Verde and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco.

This Cooperation Agreement on Marine Fisheries between the Governments of Cape Verde and Morocco aims to establish the principles and modalities for implementing cooperation in the fields of training, technical and scientific research on marine fisheries and fish products processing industries between the two State Parties. This Agreement was signed in Rabat, on December 16, 2004, whose texts in Portuguese and French are published in annex to the present Decree. The Contracting Parties agree to pay particular attention to capacity building on marine fisheries for their personnel through the implementation of common training and development programmes. Facilities will be granted for the benefit of personnel belonging to their respective marine administrations through: a) the organization of training courses; b) the granting of scholarships; c) access, for educational purposes, for its nationals to vocational training institutions, as well as to fishing companies and fish processing industries; d) the organization of workshops, conferences and the exchange of scientific information and documentation, etc.
