Abstract
This Decree approves the Regulation C/REG.13/12/12 of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) on the Quality Control of Fertilizers within the ECOWAS space. The Regulation, consisting of 34 articles divided into nine Chapters, adopted on 2 December 2012 in Abidjan, regulates the guiding principles, the fertilizer quality control organs and instruments, as well as the manufacture, import and sale of fertilizers, the quality control of fertilizers, the rate, violations and related sanctions.
