Abstract
This Decree approves the Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Cape Verde and the Government of Hungary, signed in Praia on 28 March 2019. The objective of this Agreement is to set a framework in order to promote the further development of mutually beneficial economic and technical cooperation between the Parties in accordance with their respective legislation. The Parties agree to cooperate in the following areas: a) energy sector; b) trade; c) agriculture, food and processing industry; d) construction industry and manufacturing of building materials and equipment; e) urban development; f) transport and related infrastructure, logistics; g) mining; h) chemical and petrochemical industry; i) textile industry; j) environmental protection, water and waste management; k) education; l) health services, medical technologies and pharmaceutical industry; m) tourism and sport; n) cooperation in the small and medium-sized enterprise sector; o) info communication technology; p) defense industry; q) communal infrastructure; r) research and development; s) culture; t) training; u) exchange of information and expertise relating to scientific and technical research; v) exchange and training of specialists, scientists, technicians and students required for specific cooperation programs; and, w) Any other areas as may be agreed upon by the Parties.
