Abstract
This Decree, consisting of 2 articles and 1 Annex, regulates the Natural Park of the Northern area of Boa Vista island with an extension of 22.047ha (divided in: maritime area 13.137ha and terrestrial area 8.910ha). It approves the delimitation of the above mentioned protected area, belonging to the National Network of Protected Areas, according to Decree-Law No. 3/2003, establishing the legal regime of natural heritage, monuments and places, which by their biodiversity relevance, natural resources, ecological functions, socio-economic, cultural touristic or strategic interests, deserve a special protection. The Annex shows the map of the area and specifies geographical coordinates of this Natural Park. Amendments deal with its delimitation, under the Legal Regime of Protected Areas.
