Abstract
This Law, consisting of 7 Chapters, establishes the legal basis for Public Policies on Tourism and defines the objectives and principles for their implementation. It regulates any activity related to touristic sector for touristic development; Integral Touristic Development Areas as areas with special touristic characteristics; and Tourism Reserve and Protected Areas as: natural heritage areas with high value, whose preservation is necessary to guarantee the National touristic products. The Law is divided as follows: Objectives, concept and general principles (Chap. I); Public policies (Chap. II); Tourism agents (Chap. III); Rights and duties of tourists and touristic facilities users (Chap. IV); Finance and fiscal sectors (Chap. V); International representatives (Chap. VI); Final provisions (Chap. VII).
