Abstract
This Legislative Decree, consisting of 6 Chapters, amends and re-publishes Decree-Law No. 53/2005 on the Policy on Sustainable Exploitation of Fisheries Resources, approved by Decree-Law No. 53/2005. It establishes, as consecrating evidence, information from the continuous monitoring system of satellite vessels (VMS - Vessel Monitoring System), as well as witness statements, expert reports and photographs, and increasing offences and penalties for related illegal activities.
