National Action Plan for Renewable Energy (PNAER) Period [2015-2020/2030].

This National Action Plan for Renewable Energy (PNAER) Period [2015-2020/2030], approved by the Annex of Resolution No. 100/2015, focuses on Energy as Strategic Sector for Cape Verde's Transformation Agenda and on a Replacement Strategy of public investment by private investment. It presents a summary of national policies and targets for renewable energy sector, their trajectories, measures to achieve the goals, the nexus energy development, the cooperation with regional initiatives of the Economic Community of Western African States (CDEAO), National public institutions involved in the implementation of PNAER and monitoring of the implementation of the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency (PNAEE), which is part of a triad of public policy documents, which additionally includes the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency (PNAEE) Period [2015-2020/2030] and Agenda for Action for Sustainable Energy for All (AA SE4ALL) and are intended to transform the entire energy sector an engine of development and creation of competitive added value in the national and international spheres.
