Abstract
This Order establishes the specific regime for cetacean watching activities in Cape Verde from platforms, ensuring a balance between the interests of cetacean protection, conservation and management in the country. It applies in the territorial waters and exclusive economic zone (EEZ) of Cape Verde to all cetacean species listed in Annex II of Decree-Law No. 8/2022 of 6 April, as well as to all species not listed therein that may be recognized in the areas mentioned by official national or international scientific institutions.
